I am strongly considering teaching English in China for a couple years then applying for jobs in Europe with that experience on my resume. May spend like 5 years teaching abroad.

My question is, can a person who has that kind of experience on their resume get a job with an ESL school in Canada? (I know there are such schools the big cities here)
Just would like to have a career plan. Thanks.

Question by I_love_lamp: What are the best careers related to photography that could allow me to immigrate to Canada or America?
I’m currently studying my photography degree in the UK, and I really would like to move to the States or Canada.
What are some good careers that are photo related that would allow me to get sponsored?
The only one I can think of would be maybe Forensic photographer or Photography teacher (high school, college… which would make it possible for sponsorship)?

Moving is really important to me, so I guess, I’m just wondering if I should try and get a completely different degree so I can move. I have 2 years left on my course and at 26 I’m running out of time.

Are there any umbrella companies I could transfer through that are photography related?

Thanks for your help. And any immigration neigh-sayers, please be constructive and tell me the best route to go, rather than just saying it’s hopeless. Thanks.

Best answer:

Answer by Wade H
If you are the best that ever was, then you might consider being part of Boeing or any other defense supplier that focuses on photographic (digital in most cases) processes to see an enemy.

These companies sell to the US military.

Such a coup in a time of WAR might get you in.

Or, given the utter incompetence of the neo-conserfative might get you a period of time in “extra-ordinary rendition” wherein an agent of Communism working as part of that majority in office and bureaucracy in our Government since the Ron Reagan Revolution might sell your “identity” to a fellow extra-national Communist, take you away, replace you, and call it a “national security issue”.

Cause, I’ve been there. Hell, I’ve been tortured by “our side”. (It’s not a fun thing I can tell you…)

I said to some of GWB’s fellow drug runners in 1980: ” You are under arrest, anything you say can and will be used in a court…” And My Life Has Been Hell Since.

So, personally, I would applaud your efforts at defending ME and mine. But I’d hope your family and friends were MORE COMPETENT THAN THE CORRUPTION, AND THUS COULD PROTECT YOU FROM 5.11 TRILLION IN ILLICIT DRUG SALES MONIES, GLOBAL GODLESS COMMUNISM AND ETC.

Cause, from all the bullet wounds I’ve endured, for little to no compensation… I’d say that’s not likely.

And I was a defense supplier since childhood.

Stay where you are. America is in deeper doo doo than you can comprehend.

Know better? Leave your own answer in the comments!

Question by I_love_lamp: What is the best Photography Career route to immigrate to Canada or the US?
I’m trying to figure out what area of study to focus on, that will enable me to immigrate to Canada or the US.
My passion lays with photography, which isn’t exactly a career known for it’s immigration prospects. But I want to move abroad so I will bend my career focus around this goal.

What would be a good area to focus my photography studies on. I was thinking perhaps medical photography… as it’s related to health care and medicine which has good immigration prospects. Can anyone recommend this, or suggest another area of related study?

Best answer:

Answer by The Exalted Pheonix
The weather is a interesting to study if you happen to want to go to live in the North West Territories like Yellowknife.

This is Arctic land.

Question by SGhockeychika4: Could I find a job in Canada with a degree from the United States?
I’m still a senior in high school, but I plan to go to college in Pittsburgh to major in journalism and double minor in broadcasting and sports management. I would either love to live in Pittsburgh after college or in Canada. My future goal is to be a sports reporter for the Pittsburgh Penguins or another NHL team. Could I get a job in Canada with an American degree?

Best answer:

Answer by Jim E
I don’t see a problem with that, of course why I don’t know, your in the city of champions with two of the greatest sports franchises of all time, the penguins and the steelers. Sure you can go to canada or another city, and write for losing teams but why. I suggest you get your nose in the front door of the consol enegry center doing whatever, even moping floors for now.
