Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Write English
Work Setting: Hairstyling salon or studio
Hair Cutting Techniques: Scissor cutting, Long hair trimming, Short hair cutting
Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying, Iron waving/curling, Permanents
Hair Colouring Techniques: Bleach, Dyes/tints, Streaking/highlights
Related Skills: Analyze hair and scalp conditions and provide basic treatments, Provide advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
Barbering Specific Skills: Cut and trim hair, Provide scalp massages
Additional Skills: Book appointments, Perform receptionist duties
